A brief description of the department:
The M.A. program offers the M.A. in Classics with emphases in Ancient History, Classical Archaeology, Classical Philology, or Latin Pedagogy. The program encourages interdisciplinary work across these emphases. Graduate Students may also earn Secondary School Latin Teaching Certification through the College of Education. Recent M.A. recipients have enjoyed great success in gaining admittance to top-tier Ph.D. programs and in finding employment in secondary schools across the country.

No writing sample is required; students who wish to send a sample should send one only (not exceeding 15pp.).
